Tower of Hercules
A World Heritage Site since 2009, the Tower of Hercules is the oldest Roman lighthouse in the world that is still in use. From its base and after going up 234 steps you get to the viewpoint, from where you can enjoy one of the most spectacular views in A Coruña. The Tower of Hercules Sculpture Park occupies a large natural space around the monument, where you can find more than 15 works created by famous artists, most of them from Galicia.
Shopping in Marineda City
The Marineda City shopping centre, where the hotel is located, offers the biggest leisure and shopping offer in the city. All of it, very close to you. More than 190 shops to find everything you need, such as Primark, Zara, Pull&Bear, Bershka, Massimo Dutti, H&M, El Corte Inglés, IKEA, Media Markt…, and an extensive leisure offer for adults and children, with cinemas, bowling alleys, go-karting circuits, arcades…
Museums to visit
A Coruña offers a broad cultural offer. Its three science museums, Casa de las Ciencias (House of Science), Domus and Finisterrae Aquarium and the Museum of Science and Technology (MUNCYT) bring science closer to all of its visitors. Domus, also known as Casa del Hombre (House of Man), is the first interactive museum in the world dedicated to the human being. Inside you can interact and discover everything you need to know about the human species.
Parks and beaches
In A Coruña you will find beaches in the city that, together with those that are located around it, make it an ideal destination to sunbathe, walk on the sand, have a dip in the sea or practice a wide range of water sports. The city offers many public green spaces where you can go for a nice walk or do some sport, such as, for example, the Méndez Núñez Gardens, one of the oldest in the city. If you go up the San Pedro hill you can enjoy one of the most spectacular views in A Coruña.
